Russell Brand is still trying to rationalize exactly what went wrong during his 14 month marriage to Katy Perry.
Brand explained in a recent interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes:
“Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it don’t. But if you sort of sense there’s an incompatibility, then in any relationship regardless of the status of the individual, it kind of is best to go separate ways.”
Russell offered up some of his match-making expertise, advising:
“I think if you’re someone who’s really into mountain biking, it would be good to go out with someone else who’s into mountain biking, and if you’re really into Eastern mysticism, go out with someone else who into Eastern mysticism.”
For now, the actor claims to be taking a break from relationships, to focus on his one true love… comedy! He explained:
“It [comedy] is the most important thing to me. I think it formed a barrier between me and the unbearable pain of being alive, both watching it and doing it.”
Howeves, it seems that womanizing is his true passion!
The British bad boy has been seen locking lips with a new girl every week. He even “humiliated” Geri Halliwell earlier this summer, by ditching her for another girl — the day she announced they were dating!
The comic should take his own advice and to stick to comedy, and take a break from “dating.” Breaking other’s hearts isn’t the way to fix his own!
