Hip-Hop Mourns the Loss of Chris Lighty

The sudden death of Chris Lighty sent shockwaves throughout the music industry. The hip-hop manager was found dead after an apparent suicide at the age of 44. As founder of Violator Management, he helped shape the careers of artists including 50 Cent, Diddy, Busta Rhymes, and Mariah Carey, and had a profound impact on the culture.

Rev Run, Rihanna, Game, Monica, Soulja Boy, Nicki Minaj, and more of his friends and associates took to Twitter to pay their respects to the hip-hop visionary. His client Diggy Simmons saw him as more than just a manager, while Fat Joe will forever be grateful for the impact he had on his life.
